I tend to prefer ultimate prime (UOP) box better though, since it shows a much galaxy look cconsistent with the DOTM theme and the flames are hard to beat.
Here are some picctures I took with my I-phone on JWP
Here is some pic on him in robot mode
Here are some pics of him with UOP
Here are some pics of jetwing pack on buster Prime
Well back to my general comments on the figure:
Pros
- A generally more movie accurate figure than the UOP, any reviews on jetwing prime will undeniably bring in comparisons with UOP since both are the giant portrayal of the character at exorbidant prices.
- Well designed jet-pack that makes posing the leader figure quite easy and stable.
- The jet-pack which sports great detailing can be combined with any version of ROTF leader primes and is quite stable though it is best combined with the DOTM incarnation.
- The set looks amazing on Buster Prime, check out the combination with Buster Prime, he looks much better IMHO.
- Definitely not worth RM400 since it is just a leader prime with a giant jet-pack. Too little remolding on the leader figure itself, for RM400 I will expect a more streamlined version of prime such as improving on the wheels that stuck out too much on robot mode and DEFINITELY a better paint job is needed to justify the insane price TAKARA is charging (i.e. BUSTER PRIME PAINT JOB)
- Silly alternate mode with the truck and the dumb jet-pack attach.
- The pieces attaching the gigantic gun to the jet-pack is made of rubber and I am not too fond of rubber as they tend to rot and deteriorate over time.
- The guns are not really movie accurate since in the Movie it is much shorter and more compact.
Overall I give this figure .......6.5/10 , only recommended if movie accuracy is everything you wanted from a figure, for a more value of money purchase go for UOP
